Do our lifes evolve around the web to much?

After reading about Web 2.0 three times due to children in the quiet zone being noisy, I finally had peace and quiet at home and socked up the read:

    Hello Charlie, I like yourself and many others am engaged in Task 1B and I believe that many people rely on Web 2.0 for a lot of things in life - be that for my professional work or generally socialising with friends via Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc..Another intriguing thought on this topic would be if Web 2.0 did not exist, how would people cope professionally and/or socially?
