Task 2a... The dreaded Journal.

i am quiet unsure about this journal writing. I am not the best writer or even confident at writing.
i like to have everything planned out and a set structure about what I'm working.
with a journal i feel i don't know what to write about.
i feel like i may forget to write sometimes.
even though i am very organised, everything i do i like to plan out.

What sort of things is every one else writing about?
are you writing?.... i might draw pictures.

  1. I'm just writing about the jobs I receive, whether it is modeling, styling or anything to do with the performing arts. I would also like to talk about how I promote or go about getting certain jobs, the pros and cons of the jobs and if I can't get certain jobs how I will analyze and better my situation. Definitely add visual images to your blog, maybe even a slide show? I hope that helps! :)

  3. Hi Charlie! I just write from the heart even if I am just doing a little bit of practise. I even uploaded two of my video's and I didn't mention I was a singer as such when we all first met. As long as you are doing some form of practise whether it be learning lines, writing your own stuff or being dictated to by a director it still is classed great to put in your journal. It's exactly like a personal journal you keep at home.

    Hope this helps

    Have a good weekend.

  5. Hi Charlie, I include everyday situations and the affect it had on me. I write everything I feel should be written about. I take note on a feeling I have if someone had said something that may have shocked me. I ask myself questions and listen and note how I go about finding a resolution or answer to settle my fellings. Like Lily, I write from the heart mostly.

  6. Hi, I have started to write my journal, I keep in a dairy format so I can take it everywhere I go. I don't use one method, sometimes I write it all down or draw a picture about my emotions or I use bullet points. I write about things that have affect the way I teach which like lily and corinda is from the heart. Hope that helps x

  7. Hi Charlie!

(I went to Stella Mann too!)

I have written my journal using the different styles they suggested in the reader. I teach full time both adults and children so I have been writing about my classes and how I have been feeling about how they are progressing as dancers and how I am progressing as a teacher. Writing from anothers point of view was really fun - maybe someone you work with or an animate object like a jacket or your hairbrush! Hope this helps and you can really get stuck in. Once you start, it's hard to stop! Happy writing!
